On March 27, 2025, our founder, Raevyn, celebrated a powerful milestone: their induction into Phi Theta Kappa, in recognition of their academic excellence and a remarkable 3.95 GPA.
But this moment was about more than grades—it was a celebration of resilience, leadership, and the vision behind Rainbow Homestead Initiative.
The induction ceremony was an uplifting celebration of service and achievement. For Raevyn, it was a chance to reflect on the journey that led here—from overcoming adversity to building a community rooted in care and inclusion.
“Being recognized for academic success was humbling—but even more meaningful was the chance to share the heart of Rainbow Homestead with others.”
As part of the event, Raevyn participated in a poster viewing session, where they introduced Rainbow Homestead Initiative to a new audience. They shared their personal story and the vision for creating spaces where everyone can thrive—spaces grounded in inclusivity, sustainability, and community collaboration.
The conversations that followed were rich and inspiring. Attendees were eager to learn more, ask questions, and connect. It was a reminder of the power of storytelling to spark change.
This event marked an important step in expanding awareness of Rainbow Homestead and deepening our roots in the community. We’re grateful to the Xi Delta Chapter at Delta College for hosting such a meaningful event—and to everyone who took the time to engage with us.
We’re excited to build on this momentum and continue working toward a brighter, more inclusive future.
